Easy Blackberry Cobbler

Easy blackberry cobbler, just 5 ingredients

  • 3 cups fresh blackberries
  • 1/2 cup butter (one stick)
  • 2 cups self-rising flour
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 2 cups milk

  1. Note: This cobbler will have a fluffier cake-like consistency, hence the self-rising flour. If you do not have self-rising flour, you may use all-purpose flour and add 2 tsp baking powder and 1 tsp salt.
  2. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  3. While preheating, put the stick of butter in a 9x13 pan and place in oven to melt.
  4. In mixing bowl, stir together the flour, sugar, and milk. Batter may be slightly lumpy. Set aside.
  5. Once butter is melted completely, remove pan from oven.
  6. Drop blackberries into pan on top of melted butter. Do not mix, just place on top.
  7. Pour mixed ingredients on top of blackberries. Do not mix, just place on top.
  8. Bake in preheated oven for one hour.

Serve warm with a scoop of vanilla ice cream!
